Merlin (2008)

Imi anuntasem in mod discret interesul pentru un anume horror filipinez aproximativ fresh (2008). Poate bunul simt (ala din engleza, common sense, nu ala romanesc ce lipseste in general taman romanilor), ca atare ori trezit taman de citirea celor scrise cu propriile-mi degetele, poate vreo inspiratie de moment, a facut sa NU comit atrocitatea. Desi in alte dati nimic nu m-a salvat - dar asta e o alta poveste.

Dupa cum spuneam, NU mi-am otravit neuronul obosit cu inca un film asiatic prost. Oh nu. Evitand cu grija capcana asiatica, am cazut in putul serialelor americane proaste. Cu un prim (si ultim! jur!) episod din Merlin, productie 2008, in care am avut incantarea sa descopar figuranti de culoare, o Gwinevere-servitoarea-Morgainei (?????) mulatra, un Arthur stil popularul-capitan-al-echipei-de-fotbal ce foloseste apelativul "maaaan", un Merlin mai politically correct decat e cazul, si multe altele in aceeasi nota.

Mentiune: cautand acum, de dimineata, sa scriu un review acestui serial, am dat peste asta:

Merlin, an exciting fantasy series, takes viewers inside the world of Camelot but in a 21st century manner. Before Merlin (Colin Morgan) and Arthur (Bradley James) were legends, they were young men hungry for adventure. In search of love and their own true destinies, the duo make their share of mistakes along the way.

Note: While very entertaining, the series does play fast and loose with what is considered "canon" about Arthur's legend. The series should not be considered as an accurate portrayal of what is known or believed about Arthur, his knights, or the times they lived in.
